Quality Control Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and evolve the quality function at a well-established manufacturing facility. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the Director of Manufacturing, overseeing a team of up to 10, including quality inspectors and final inspection/packaging staff. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the quality team, including inspectors and final inspection/packaging personnel.

Develop and implement quality processes and procedures from the ground up.

Oversee product testing

Ensure adherence to quality specifications and industry standards.

Partner with cross-functional teams to meet quality goals and resolve issues.

Drive continuous improvement efforts, ideally leveraging Six Sigma tools.

Utilize internal systems such as AS400, Salesforce, and Excel to manage quality data and reporting.

Establish a robust set of documented processes and a more structured quality system.
Qualifications:

5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment (experience with soft goods is a plus, but not required).

At least 2 years of management experience leading people and processes.

Strong communication and leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Familiarity with AS400, Salesforce, and Excel is helpful.

Six Sigma or other experience in continuous improvement is a plus.
