Quality Control Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and evolve the quality function at a well-established manufacturing facility. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the Director of Manufacturing, overseeing a team of up to 10, including quality inspectors and final inspection/packaging staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quality team, including inspectors and final inspection/packaging personnel.

  • Develop and implement quality processes and procedures from the ground up.

  • Oversee product testing

  • Ensure adherence to quality specifications and industry standards.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to meet quality goals and resolve issues.

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, ideally leveraging Six Sigma tools.

  • Utilize internal systems such as AS400, Salesforce, and Excel to manage quality data and reporting.

  • Establish a robust set of documented processes and a more structured quality system.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment (experience with soft goods is a plus, but not required).

  • At least 2 years of management experience leading people and processes.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset.

  • Familiarity with AS400, Salesforce, and Excel is helpful.

  • Six Sigma or other experience in continuous improvement is a plus.
