Product Design Engineer – Weaving

We are partnering with a fast-growing, innovation-driven manufacturer in the textile industry to find a Product Design Engineer with a strong background in weaving design, particularly in narrow fabrics. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of woven narrow fabric products.

• Innovate new weaving techniques and collaborate with manufacturing to bring products from concept to production.

• Oversee a small team, with two direct reports, providing leadership and development support.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality.

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and support patent development initiatives.

Requirments:

• Proven experience in weaving design

• Experience in broadcloth weaving or 3D weaving is also considered.

• Solid understanding of textile product development processes.

• Leadership experience with direct reports or small teams.

• Woven manufacturing experience is a strong plus.
