Master Data Specialist – Remote

Coley Company is partnering with a global, family-owned manufacturer of engineered materials to identify a Master Data Specialist to support its global supply chain organization.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong ERP and supply chain systems experience who enjoys bringing structure to complex data and wants to play an important role in improving how a global manufacturing organization manages its information.

Own item, supplier, customer, and production-structure data in a multi-site manufacturer that is still formalizing how that data is created and changed.

You will enter and maintain records in ERP and related systems, run bulk loads, keep the same record aligned across systems, and clean recurring quality issues (duplicates, missing attributes, unit-of-measure errors, inactive or incomplete records). You will also help document naming rules, required fields, and approval steps, and turn away requests that are not complete enough to enter.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on master data work in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar supply-chain setting
• Created and mass-updated records in a major ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Dynamics); willing to learn additional systems
• Depth in at least two of: materials, suppliers, customers, manufacturing BOMs/routings
• Advanced Excel and experience with import templates
• Accurate at volume; can write simple process docs and explain rules to requesters
