Maintenance manager

We are seeking a hands-on, technically skilled Maintenance Manager to lead and support our dynamic maintenance team at a global manufacturing facility. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee a team of electricians, mechanics and electrical controls engineers, ensuring high reliability, safety, and performance across operations.
You will drive preventative maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems, and develop strong working relationships to foster a culture of trust, accountability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance department, including electricians, mechanics, and electrical controls teams
- Own and implement robust preventative maintenance strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, with a focus on electrical systems
- Work closely with PLC systems (Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk) and manage electrical controls
- Reduce equipment downtime and improve response strategies
- Foster a strong, respectful, and collaborative team culture
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments and senior leadership
- Serve as a visible, hands-on leader on the plant floor
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance leadership
- Strong electrical background with mechanical knowledge; electrical expertise preferred
- Hands-on experience with PLC systems, Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to build trust, mentor teams, and promote a proactive maintenance culture
