Product Development Chemist – Personal Care

We are partnering with a leading global consumer packaged goods company in the personal care/consumer products space, seeking a detail-oriented professional to support product development, technical documentation, and commercialization.
This role offers hands-on involvement in product development and innovation, along with exposure to formulation, testing, and regulatory processes. You’ll be part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong opportunities for growth within the personal care industry.
This position sits at the intersection of R&D, quality, and customer support, playing a key role in bringing products from concept to market.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers
• Maintain and update formulations and raw material data
• Review and approve key documents (ingredient statements, specs, BOMs)
• Support product development and commercialization workflows
• Conduct out-of-spec investigations and material reviews
• Assist with lab testing, equipment, and third-party coordination

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
• 2-3+ years of experience in lab, product development, or quality
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with formulations or personal care products preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and working with technical data
