Formulation Chemist – Specialty Coatings | Augusta, GA
We’re partnering with a long-established specialty coatings manufacturer in Augusta, Georgia, seeking an experienced Formulation Chemist to join their growing team. The company is investing heavily in this location and expects to double business within the next two years, creating excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine formulations using PVC, urethanes, silicones, and acrylics
- Conduct lab testing and troubleshoot coating and finishing processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve product quality and performance
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of formulation experience with colorants, polymers, or paints
- Degree preferred: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Textile Engineering
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with woven fabrics or textile coatings a plus
